Cathy has enjoyed working in all
aspects of the fitness industry since the mid 1980s. She obtained both her Bachelors degree in
Business Administration (’85) and her Masters degree in Kinesiology (’91) from
the University of Texas at Austin. Cathy is certified through ACSM and AFAA, is
a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance, and also holds specialized
certifications in pilates, cycling, strength training, laughter yoga, TRX,
Power Plate, and Kinesis Omega. Cathy’s love of learning is equally matched by
her love of sharing fitness with adults of all ages, levels, and
abilities. She teaches cycling, pilates,
strength training, and yoga group exercise classes and also trains small groups
and individuals in Studio 360. She believes
in a well-rounded fitness program, and encourages participants to balance their
workouts by including cardio, strength, and flexibility exercises along with rest
and recovery, for a healthy body and mind.
Cathy wants all of her participants to enjoy a safe and challenging workout,
have fun, and progress at their own pace to meet and even surpass their
personal health and fitness goals.
