What is Aerial?

Aerial classes provide a unique avenue for working on strength, flexibility, and coordination. It is a full-body workout that engages muscles in a way that not many other types of workouts can. Aerial allows you to connect to your body in a meaningful way while promoting body awareness and a deeper understanding of your movement patterns.

But for me, the best part of aerial classes is the creativity and mental connection involved in the sequences. There is always something new to learn and refine, and it can be as much of a mental challenge as it is a physical challenge. As people overcome past perceived limitations and achieve new skills, they often have a sense of empowerment.

For people who have never taken an aerial class, it may be daunting. Aerial is accessible to all levels, and the instructor will meet you where you are in your fitness journey. Over time, you’ll build the strength for pull-ups and to invert in the air. As you get stronger and more confident in your abilities, you’ll climb higher and perform more complex movements.
