Power Up Your Game: Personalized Fitness Training to Elevate Your Golf Performance

Want to add more distance and elevate your golf game? The key may not lie solely in perfecting your swing, but also in improving your strength, power, and mobility. A recent review of 25 studies evaluated the effects of strength and conditioning interventions on golf performance measures- clubhead speed, ball speed, and distance. The findings revealed average increases of 4–6.4% in these metrics.

Building a fitness program to enhance your golf game involves a strategic approach:

Step 1: Get Assessed
If you're not assessing, you're just guessing. We offer a comprehensive TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Golf Fitness Assessment at The Houstonian Club to evaluate your body’s ability to move during the golf swing. We can also assess your strength and power, which directly impact your swing speed.

Step 2: Review and Plan
Your TPI Trainer will review your assessment results and design a workout plan tailored to improve your strength, power, and mobility. This plan will help you build the necessary foundation needed to add distance to your swing.

By following a personalized fitness plan, you'll unlock your potential and elevate your golf performance!
