The Houstonian Club was one of the first studios in the entire state of Texas to offer the Gyrotonic Expansion System Method. Since 2001, the Club has proudly offered this revolutionary exercise system, also called the Gyrotonic Expansion System.  Inspired by dance, kundalini yoga, swimming and Tai Chi, the exercises incorporate fluid movement and a full range of motion of every joint, making it compatible with any particular body during any stage of life. The system is especially helpful during pregnancy, recovering from an injury, or for those who would like to enhance their rotation or maintain their flexibility.  The goal of any private or group session is to move the body completely, encourage the muscular tissue and nervous system strength simultaneously, and bring balance to the body. Our Club currently has 8 certified Gyrotonic trainers and 2 certified Gyrokinesis trainers (the mat version of the method).  Besides Golf, our Gyrotonic instructors are also available to teach specific sequences and protocols for Equestrians, Dancers, Martial Arts, High-level Athletes, Tennis, Scoliosis, Osteoporosis and more.
