We love our Houstonian Club Members, and our goal is to protect the exclusivity of your membership and keep the Club secure. To help with this, we ask that you avoid sharing your personal access tag or key fob with guests or other family members.
Access tags are uniquely assigned to individual users and should not be loaned or shared. They are designed to control entry and restrict access to authorized Houstonian Club Members and registered guests. Sharing access tags can compromise Club security, allowing unauthorized individuals to gain entry.
It is also imperative that each Member scans their own access tag when entering through the turnstiles.
Everyone on your membership, over the age of 9, can be assigned an access tag for Club. Children between the ages of 9–11 may obtain an access tag upon completing the Junior Youth Certification Program. Children between the ages of 12–15 may obtain an access tag after completing the Youth Certification Program. Certified children must carry their membership access tag, along with the corresponding color wrist coil, while on the Houstonian Campus. Information about both certification programs is available at the Welcome Desk or by emailing youth@houstonian.com.
In addition, all Houstonian Club Members are welcome to invite guests to use the Club following the
guest policy. All guests must check in at the Welcome Desk. Guests of Resident Members, over the age of 21 years old, will receive a Resident access tag, that grants access to all Resident areas during their visit.
You may also request an access tag for your nanny or caregiver at the Welcome Desk. Once the caregiver form is completed and submitted, they will receive a tag for up to six months at a time. For more information about this program, please inquire at the Welcome Desk.
Please note that misuse of your access tag or failure to properly check in a guest may result in access tag deactivation or referral to the Disciplinary Committee.
If you misplace your access tag, you can purchase a replacement tag at the Welcome Desk for $20 plus tax.
