Izel is a Houston native who grew up playing soccer and caring for her younger nieces and nephews. Her passion for kids led to her working at an HISD school, where she was a teacher’s assistant and after school program coordinator for 4 years. In 2016, she became the Youth Supervisor for the Youth Department at The Houstonian Club. In her spare time, she loves planning trips that are filled with hiking, sightseeing and adrenaline-rushing activities. Izel loves to welcome the families into the Houstonian and creating a space that is safe and beloved by the children and parents.
