a passion for science, food, active living, and service, developing a career as
a dietitian has become a perfect fit. Elayna was born and raised in
southeast Texas and appreciates all the outdoor activities Texas has to
offer. After completing graduate work at Lamar University in Dietetics and
Exercise Science, she gained extensive clinical knowledge supporting acute and
surgical care, oncology, rehabilitation, and GI lab.
Embracing
quality of life and driven on the health spectrum, she wishes to bring an
approach to combining diet changes with athletic training for clients to
optimize their goals. She specializes in counseling for many disease
conditions, prevention, performance-based goals, and body composition. She is
here to connect all the enjoyable things about our foods and better align a
diet with a client’s long-term health goals.
