Playing tennis, pickleball or padel is an enjoyable way to intensify your fitness routine. Not only will it improve your balance, strength, and agility, but you will make friends for life. Racquet sports require a whole lot of focus and concentration, which can help reduce stress and anxiety. It will also boost your self-esteem and overall mood. At The Houstonian Club, you have a lot of choices to stay in shape, make sure that a racquets sport is one of them!

Whether you are a seasoned player or want to learn a new sport, we are ready to serve the membership in the racquets department. We have 12 certified racquet sports professionals who can’t wait to meet you on the tennis, pickleball, or padel court. Racquet Sports Reminders:
  • A 24-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid a charge ($45) for court reservations.
  • From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. only one-hour slots can be reserved indoors due to the current demand.
  • Please bring your own tennis, pickleball or padel balls to play with. You are welcome to pay a small fee to use the Club’s used tennis balls otherwise.
  • Racquets Office Hours: Monday to Friday: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
