Bio

 David Cedeño is an American bartender and operations manager from Houston, Texas. He has worked behind the bar full-time since 2012, everywhere from college nightclubs to fine restaurants, but has mainly developed upscale cocktail programs for bars in the inner loop area. He entered the world of food and beverage in his early 20s and has taken part in the rise of wine-bar culture along with the creativity of chef-driven restaurants. While managing a bar and in need of reinvigorating the bar program in 2012, David stumbled upon the cocktail movement developing in Houston. There he found his passion for fresh ingredients, quality and rare spirits, and the challenges to continue to develop his career. He was the first bartender from Houston to participate in the prestigious World Class Bartending Competition.

He co-owned a bar in downtown Houston and has consulted for some established brands.

David has focused on operational efficiencies by developing staff’s strengths within a team environment. With a fundamental approach to service, David’s leadership has been instrumental as a blueprint for managers and owners to use in hiring and development. David plans to share his knowledge and experience with all those involved in the future success of the F&B program at The Houstonian Club.
