Matt McCullough

Matt is a Houston native and grew up playing football and running track until attending Baylor University for his undergraduate degree. He then completed his master’s degree at Texas A&M University, where he taught numerous Kinesiology courses, including Strength Training, Bootcamp, Aerobic Running, and Race Walking. Additionally, Matt interned with TAMU Sport Performance, working directly with Track and Field, Softball, and Volleyball. Matt currently competes in Olympic-style weightlifting and has won several state championships. He also holds state records in two separate weight classes. He is a two-time national champion and has represented the USA Weightlifting Team in multiple competitions. Matt is also a national-level weightlifting coach and had an athlete win the state championship in his first year of coaching.
