A Houstonian Club Membership consists of a designee, their spouse and dependent children under the age of 25. At the age of 25, the Club provides various affordable options for dependents to purchase their own Membership.
- You may purchase a Legacy Membership at today’s rate. A Legacy Membership is 30% off the current pricing of any initiation fee. A 20% down payment plus tax is due at the time of purchase and we offer 0 % financing up to 60 months. We do offer a "pay in full” incentive as well. We understand that some of your children are unsure whether or not they will reside in Houston permanently. Therefore, we do offer a payment option where 50% of the initiation fee may be paid now and the balance may be paid on or before their 35th birthday, or the membership is terminated.
- Once your dependent turns 25, if they are not ready to pay an initiation fee, we offer a one-year "dues only” option at a reduced individual monthly rate. At the end of the year, they must purchase their Legacy Membership. Although this plan is helpful, we plan on increasing the initiation fees at the end of the renovation. Therefore, if they are sure they are going to remain in Houston and they can afford the payment option above, it would be beneficial to purchase the Legacy Membership.
We do make an exception to Members between the ages of 25 - 27, who are full-time college students and residing at home. These Members would submit a request to the Membership Director, Colleen Kennedy at
ckennedy@houstonian.com, with a copy of their full-time schedule for the semester. This option is not offered for those over the age of 27.
